Philosophy

We see ourselves as a service provider for the client and the project goal.

  • We want to advise our clients effectively. We therefore do not take on projects that your company does not really need

  • We want to ensure the company’s future viability together with the client.

  • We want to advise honestly as a partner. We know that we may also have to address unpleasant issues, but we take our clients and their problems too seriously to avoid these questions.

  • We are open to criticism because we can learn from it. And we know that we do not know everything.

  • We want to solve the tasks we are assigned so well that our clients recommend us to others.

Professional and social competence ensures the quality of our advice.

  • Our consultants are practice-oriented and/or scientifically trained and have many years of management and consulting experience behind them.

  • As a result, ad tempus · consulting consists exclusively of experienced professionals who not only have technical, but also important social skills.

  • If we cannot map the required know-how for sub-tasks ourselves, we consult experts who correspond to the profile described above.

  • If we cannot ensure this, we won’t accept the project assignment.

Consulting Approach

Implementing Concepts

The consulting approach at ad tempus · consulting is holistic. In other words, we not only advise, but also implement concepts and manage the change process. Our focus is on implementation.

Implementable concepts observe three principles:

  1. The client / employee must be able to identify with the project during the entire process.

  2. The solutions must be technically and economically feasible

  3. The results must be supported by the company and its culture.

We not only develop project concepts with the clients, but also implement them into the Company’s practice, as this is the only way to achieve the project goal. Company desks are full of theoretical, expensive concepts and alibi projects, but implementation is often neglected. The result: expensive charts, demotivated project teams, no improvements. That is why we focus our activities on implementation.

Two Dimensions

The holistic approach has two dimensions:

Companies are networked systems.

We take into account the dependencies of sub-projects on the entire company’s functional processes and procedures.

The effects and connections with other processes / functions are also shown and described when advising the company’s sub-areas. This approach excludes isolated, and therefore inefficient, solutions.

Companies are social systems.

We link the functional processes with the company’s emotional system.

Experience has shown that neglecting the emotional system is one of the main causes of the failure of change processes. This is where possible conflict potential lies, which we take into account, moderate and resolve as part of our work.

The Change Process

Based on our experience and the laws governing change processes, the dynamic course of the project can be anticipated and planned.

Phases of the change process:

We create objective project awareness among all those involved at every phase of the project in order to control the process. The changes are tracked and measured.
